The Different Types of Love Styles

True love is actually an enduring and powerful emotional bond between lovers or spouses who are in an emotionally satisfying, happy and mutually faithful relationship. An example of true love would be the deep emotional bond shared between two married couples who have been together for 40 years and who still feel passionate about each other and are committed to one another. It is important for you to realize that true love involves more than just being happy and grateful for your partner. True love also includes being honest and open and shares similarities with other kinds of love.

There are two main types of love: romantic love and non-romantic love. Romantic love involves feelings of joy and passion. Romantic love helps to make people happy and also looks to the future and tries to define goals and aspirations. Passion comes from high brain centers. High brain centers are located in the front of the brain, just above the eyes. People with this type of love style tend to be creative, extraverted, intelligent, intuitive and have a high level of imagination.

Non-romantic love may sometimes come along with feelings of friendship, liking, compassion or other non-romantic emotions. Non-romantic feelings often help us cope with difficult situations. A good example of non-romantic love may be feelings of friendship towards another person. This is often associated with feelings of trust and safety but may also involve feelings of care and intimacy.

People in companionate love relationships are usually good at relating with others and are very caring. However, they do not share the same level of enthusiasm as those in romantic relationships. In companionate relationships, one person has a set of goals and is working towards achieving them. These are usually connected with making one another’s life easier, being a friend and having a positive attitude towards life.

Storge is closely related to passionate feelings or lust. Storge may occur when feelings of affection for another person become strong enough that one will risk harming them in order to get their affections. Someone in this love style may have a tendency to push away their partner to protect themselves from feeling their affection. They may also have a tendency to try to win their affections back by acting inappropriately.

Storge can be attractive to a partner who wants to experience some romance in their life. They have the same qualities as romantic love. They are caring and sharing, but their level of intimacy is different. Their emotional attachment is more superficial than the level that is normally found in companionate love relationships. Anyone can fall into storge, as long as the person in storge is aware that it is a normal part of their relationship.
