The True Definition of Love

Love is a complex emotion. It can be the best thing that ever happened to us or the worst. The line between romantic love and hate is razor thin. Strong emotions like love and hate are stored in the same part of the brain. However, love and hate are still prevalent throughout the world. And while love is beautiful and universal, the opposite side of the spectrum is equally enchanting: it’s the opposite of sex. There is no right or wrong way to experience love, and neither should you – especially if you’re not in the right mindset.

The word love is used to describe a special connection between two people. Agape, a Greek word, refers to this type of love, and is the highest form of Christian love. This love never fails to sustain, even when the other person is unable to do the same. The best way to define agape is the same as chesed. A love that never ends is an agape one, and that’s what we should aim to demonstrate in our relationships with others.

Erotic love is a form of love that’s more focused on physical attraction and engaging in sex. It’s a relationship that relies on a certain level of physical intimacy, and advocates of this form are unlikely to commit to a relationship. In contrast, storge love, which is more mature and requires respect, chemistry, and quality communication, can be a very fulfilling and rewarding experience for both partners. It also doesn’t require religious beliefs or values to thrive, as long as both people share the same values.

Agape is a type of love that Jesus wants to instill in His followers. The definition of love is “concern for the other.” It is an innate quality of human beings and comes with self-sacrifice. It has its origins in the eternal, triune relationship between Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. And yet, agape is unique to the human experience. While loving a dog is a bond of affection, it also entails caring for its welfare.

The word agape is a complex concept. In its most basic form, it’s a deep and intimate concern for another person. In the context of our society, love is a powerful force. It relates to God, and the Triune Godhead shares an eternal relationship with us. A dog owner’s affection for a dog is unconditional. If a dog owner is truly in love, he or she is not only caring for the well-being of their pet, but also for the well-being of its owner.

Once in love, people want to commit to one another, move in together, start a family, and pursue a life of love. They may also want to share the same interests as they build a career, and move into a home together. When this happens, the couple’s relationship is truly a life of love. The goal of a romantic relationship is to be deeply connected to one another. But how can we truly be in-love? Whether it’s a marriage, a business, or a friendship, or anything in between, a person can fall inlove with the person they’re with.
