What is fashion? Fashion is a sort of autonomy and self-expression in a certain situation and time and in a certain context, with specific clothes, footwear, life, accessories, cosmetics, hair styling, and bodily postures. In its most general usage, the word literally means a style defined by the fashion business as what is fashionable at that time. The more specific usage, as applied to the discussion of women’s fashion, indicates something fashionable current in the popular culture at that time.

It is important to be able to recognize the trends before someone else does. Even if a fashion designer is able to successfully incorporate a trend into a piece of clothing, there will still be people who will notice the mistake. With so much detail and creativity required, becoming a fashion designer is not something to take lightly.
